It's a hedonic treadmill, of a single line that must go up, under any circumstances. I don't need a safety blanket of reassurance.
There are better hedonic treadmills to pic, going to the gym, eating sensible food, this blog. But constant direct advertising to get this number up? It's not to be fully entertained.
Followers are not a necessary measure of true fans anyhow. If I'm going to make a living of this, I need enrollment.
