Advantage of retiring from watching most of pop-culture and gaming: More time to be specific with the audience I seek to serve. More time to harness and prospect my craft and skills. Lots of more time.
Disadvantages : Twitch hates me and it's algorithm. It's meant for gamers and the audiences are not for any full-time creative who's looking to make it big, some of them get picked and that's it.
So be it, either one is the user or the product.
The input of inspiration ain't essential to the production of the craft, merely shifts in streams.
Audiobooks, gyms, and walks. There are many replacements. It may not be respected by pop culture, yet may be more respectful to the user.
Yet a path less walked does not necessarily mean one that is lonelier.
