The metrics that matter.


The hackwork of streamers chasing popular games is worth more than creatives, mass-cult is the only this platform's worship, raising a finger to any wiggles that disturbs. The worship for it completely cut-throat.

Creative is not a popular genre, so you don't support it. This constraint is hard mode as it's impossible to rise against the algorithm. Only play the commercial game they play if one has to. One's own commercial rules are more important.

What's commercially viable for social media platform ain't going to reward creativity.

If one runs out of persistence and funds, so be it. Another system it will have to be.

I understand viewing box, your a platform mindset that seeks to maximize profit, even hate raiders and bad content, not creativity. You're prideful of your lack of curation. All the self moderation is up to the creatives.

You got to commercialize their own time, or it will commercialize by somebody else. Even if they are treating it as a hobby. 

The addictive nature of these free platforms, with its carousel of status roles is used to sell our attention, encourage us to burn the candle at both ends (surplus labour), and burn out. Unless boundaries are placed as users.

It's best to be on top of this psychological warfare, knowing the technology, so they don't end the former.
