Squeezed into the commodity pipeline

The meat-grinder come to my mind. That famous metaphor.

That title is what the creative professional must wrestle with. Now that's the mass generalization that will squash all the bumps.

Mass advertising is what has done, from the television prime time and onto the niche internet industry. It wasn't designed for them, back since government usage in 1990's.

Something happens when a social media platform decides to be fuelled by them. They have to grow and grow to their investors, instead of building trust with their customer base. The growth that advertisers and for-profits want, and that's a problem.

That leverage, that addiction, which is what we are seeing in real-time to X and all those reverse-engineer gotta-please-advertiser changes. Mass to nothing.

This is what's happening with google, appealing to advertising CEO's. The contest for attention, all of it continues.

Better search engines, like Ecosia is going to suffer.

All hackneyed programming, AI voiceovers and slapdash generation to serve a single promise, a product of autonomy flattened into a cheap, attention statistic. To provide ridiculously luxurious livings.

All destruction of autonomy, time, and attention of the ability to choose and horror it contains, to a single number going up.

So the switch is going to happen, from social media to search engines, no time scheduled. The crash will come. Squashed again.
