Haters gonna hate

That realization that one may have been muted. You can't tell, it's plausible deniability. That may be in your favour. A rejection that's indiscreet, with the pain of exposure through oneself.

It's the cost of doing business of creativity, or articulating a point of view. What's so career ending, and quality of life loss about it? This is the cost of doing business within a public space. The cost of being generous, overthinking the generous offer made, is a nope.

This ain't capital P publishing, it's a playground meant for traction.

If one can't be direct and then are worried with the posts taking traction away from the tenure. Then they offer a generous block, then be on their way. The work being the only thing left. It's not for them.
