Concord retrospective

So Concord went its final bow.

No, it's not coming back, I don't think the character designs are that bad, they merely did not have time to breath in the direct market because it's brutal.

A productive conversation! It's perfectly acceptable to argue the other direction, I don't like Teo's design the most. (Too clean, corporate in art direction and intentless. Unlike the tongue-in-cheek way Going Under is. That has comedy and handling of repulsion in a positive aspect.)

I've brought my own linear Ingres\ Arthur L Guptil to it. Contrasting the iconoclasm with Teo with the By-the-book look with Gaz.

Even realism could work, I don't know though (thinking Witcher, Rembrandt Romantic style).

Mass-market entertainments is always tough, I don't know which salesmen who greenlit it. If it's the blame game, though, it's them. 🛋👉 No blame on the studio.

The axiology is not whether it's entertaining or beautiful, its axiology is made by robots and marketing platforms. 🤖📊 The direct market is what it is, frustrating. No constructive criticism could change that.

This had an unceremonious end though, tsk tsk. So I'm trying to be charitable to studio.
