How the discovery tab makes you feel like a direct respond advertiser


There's a way these platforms make us feel like direct response advertisers, with its analytics. Through its concept of discovery, a nebulous prospect that is exposure rephrased. Visibility is exposure rephrased. Be careful of terms rephrased to get them trending again, and know what you're getting into.

It's all bait for freelancers to abandon their calling for the mass/average of the social media platforms, rather than what will lead them to a life well lived. All for exposure.

Catagory suggestions with its usage od discovery.

With its user interface designer writing up "the higher the ratio the better" who is it for though? Is it for them and the direct response advertisers, maximizing the attention economy? Because that's their real customer here. Maximum retention of attention, not serving the intention of an artist and his calling. It's a business to be discovered by mass statistic to an advertising auction. This payola auction of sweat equity is how they make all there money.

If I wanted to start copyrighting for this brand platform, I'd drop my art and play games entirely. Catagory suggestions being it's copyrighting code.

So, an artist following his calling does not need the suggestions of the capitalized market here. They are hacks here serving the maximized stream of attention for direct response statistics. Being the best employee to the algorithm, not the other way around.

They should be direct with this, dropping this discovery pretense and saying that they keep their users on their site, I'd respect it more. Here it is, demanding those who want those brand signifiers with direct marketing averages.

Work for yourself rather than that.

I'm not hot, it reads. Look how brutally I get punished with low traffic numbers for persuing that.

This is more of a medal for not doing any direct marketing. I'll have to do to make a living. It's easy to put the intentional design of this platform's response metrics over anything worthwhile.

This is the game and its okay. Non-affliates here may never be proffesional content creators here, yet they may be proffesional something else. No matter how over-committed.
