 So I decided to try to get my moneys worth via reading research in this discovery of llms/diffusion models.

(Even if it's bad, I've read Ayn Rynd, is this comparable? Part of the writer's training! HOOOOOOOOOO!) Lets see how much this fascinates or tires me.

I've changed my opinion

Starts with explanations of weights, and token prediction. Existential risk and ethics, lawsuits, Japan, ethics discussion. This if it's all a matter of understanding what the tech can do in terms of capabilities and incapabilities is going to really have to see through.

These four rules are his tenets that he elaborates on for a possible alternative with dealing with the tech, how people hide, how people use it, and what are the possible sci-fi futures that move along it. Here's his Ai Research blog.

I shall put him in the neutral AI category and better-reporting-that-Ed-Zetron-box. I'm going to keep his machine inferences under wraps.

Guess this is under the editorial because somebody having a nuanced take on machine learning is impossible now with this naughty journalist seeking those hot, HOT scoops!

It's over-editorialised now, huzzah.
