Well, even with doctrinaires still madden me. Here's idea/expression dichotomy. The law does not protect genre, good one too. Idea's can't be selecting, they're collectively owned by the commons, and then there's the way that I'm going to happen. Expand the conception of copyright till it's impossible.


whenever someone suggests that a webtool can detect AI images, I do check them against: 1. a digital illustration 100% hand drawn by me 2. a photomanipulation created by me 3. a video game screenshot, unedited and taken by me so far, not a single "AI detector" has ever got 2 out of 3 correct
that is WORSE THAN USELESS. "Determining which images have been created or altered with generative tools" isn't even a use case for gen-AI, somehow
okay, well, that's your right, OP, but just so you know the linked tools were: wasitai.com [failed 1 and 3, correctly identified 2 as "not AI"] and thehive.ai/apis/ai-gene... [failed 2, said 3 "might include some AI elements", correctly identified 1 as "not AI"]
usually I delete quote posts if the OP blocks me but I guess I'll let this one circulate, it's important to be aware of the limits of these apps. the best tool for detecting generated images and text is and remains: your human eyeballs. sorry
